Today's strip (No. 3074) is from 1st July 2008. It's not based on reality - I've never been kicked in the rear by a man in gold makeup standing atop a small crate, although I've often wondered what you'd get for such a cursory sum as 5 pence - probably one raised eyebrow.
My mind could be playing tricks, but I'm fairly sure there was a 'human statue' I saw in Cardiff once who's act consisted of doing a handstand with his head in a bucket. Did I dream it?

Did you see that episode of Gavin and Stacey where Nessa was a human statue? Man, that was funny. This is pretty amusing too, mind ;-)

I've seen all the episodes of Gavin & Stacey, but must admit I can't remember that particular one - good excuse to rewatch them!
