I finally managed to visit the Cartoon Museum for the last weekend of Bell Époque - 30 years of Steve Bell. Packed, it was... packed to the gills! (whatever that means.)  Click on the strip for a larger version I've scanned this strip in from yesterday's paper. The Superdragons auction took place Wednesday night and my rugby themed dragon 'Scrum' went for £1500, which is very pleasing. The total raised that night was over £95,000 with most of the money going to charity. Result! Scrum was bought by Rachel Stephens, and here's a pic of dragon and new family

The Cartoonists Club held it's convention and AGM a few weeks back. The location was Butlins in Skegness  - not a location I particularly relished, but it tied in with the club's history - for many, many years the club had used Butlins for it's conventions, plus there was a feeling that after several years of annual trips to breweries and similar non kid-friendly places, a return to the family
